The deeper we go on our spiritual journey, the more likely we are to hit the challenge of painful feelings that we have kept buried, a sense of wounding or grievance where forgiveness eludes us. We may try to behave in a loving way and ignore the pain; we may get stuck in ‘being a body’ and struggle to keep our connection with God.
This course will show us how to understand, process and let go of feelings such as anger, grief and fear, plus related ones of anxiety and depression, which block and sabotage us, seeming to stand in the way of our peace. Instead of trying to avoid, repress or distract from ‘negative’ feelings, we will learn how to recognise and gently allow them, seeing what they have to teach us by bringing them to the light for transformation. Then, gradually, we remember who we really are, and love, joy and peace are revealed as our true nature.
Lia Steinson is a professional online life counsellor, Course teacher and psychologist, specialising in healing the effects in our lives of traumatic events in our childhood. In her work, she blends together the wisdom of these interconnected paths in her own warmhearted, inspirational and original style.
